Tell me about yourself


I would describe myself as a self starter who want to take initiate. Let me give you an example in our current organisation. When ops was decided to give control to manage F5 device then there wasn't a single person who know about F5. So my manager asked who want to take opportunity to work on F5 without any training ? And I said YES

Having go through job description I am confident that I do have skills & qualities needed for this role.


I am a fast learner & possess excellent problem solving capabilities & can manage significant work load. I am positive role model and had client appreciationfor resolving high priority work.

Greatest Strength


I give much importance to relationship building because I strongly believe that I can perform better if I have harmonous relationship with team members.


I would like to make a note of all critical resources which would be very useful while resolving the issue say network diagram connectivity with ISP etc.


Also would like to make notes of my learning from previous incident which would help me to troubleshoot issue fast in future.


Greatest Weakness


It's difficult to say "No" to others and that's reason I couldn't


I often trying to other another team memeber and try to understand how things work there. Obviously that don't help me in my current role and have no

intension to switch profile but I just do it . Actually it also help me to maintain good relationship with other team members.

Why do you want to leave your current role?


It's almost 5 years since I joined HCL and the project in which I am working on. But now it has been enough time and I would like to make a switch and looking for new challeneges which could contribute in my growth.

First first 2-3 would like to immerse myself in position & provide my recommendations to if we could perform better as there is always a scope of improvement.


Tell me about a time you failed or made a mistake ?


Well I would say that I took responsibility of urgent critical work without taking the required information.


It was Friday and had to provide visio diagram for new devices and connectivity so that engineering teamcould discuss the new requirement with management


As I was already had lots of workload so decided to work on weekend. Now when I found that for few devices which I couldn't login so dropped email and waited for response. Also didn't updated my manager about this and on Monday morning there was escalation for this.


So I learnt lesson that if I take responsibility of some work then ensure it's delivered on time and if that's not possible then politely deny.


Tell me about a time you worked with a difficult person.


Well lack of communication is mostly make us think that a person is difficult to work with.


Let me give you example : I was assigned to work and require some important information to get it done. On teams I wasn't getting response.


I was worried if I could finish work on time.


So when business hours got finished & I didn't got answer I decided to call him to inform that I would not be able to complete work on time as I didn't have required information.


He told that he is too busy on some other work and will help me provide extra time to finish work.


Then I realized lack of communication which creates trouble.


Tell me about a time you disagreed with someone.


Yes normally whenever there is an issue of disconnection between servers the incident is created for network team.


I want to set us process which could asnswer few queries i.e. to share RAM & CPU utilization of servers.


If that's a physical device or VM etc

sharing logs etc


But some other put objection that it would unnecessarily blame network team for resolution if issue turns out to be network.
